There is a new way to search for mules in the drug trade, Facebook and other websites.Thus said the CNB, on its warning after 12 women from Singapore were caught as mules in overseas. The Singapore girls are targeted due to the passports they are holding , not for their brains. Wooed and given free tickets and holidays, they are duped by their boyfriends,(trafficker) who are mainly West African and Nigerian.

Modus operando

Therefore beware if they purported to be electronic dealers,used car importers and such. Singapore girls are naive and not fully exposed to the murky dealings of drugs and death in drug-hit third world countries. They need to broaden their mind, needless to say ,most are ignorant and clueless. The overseas drug syndicates are targeting Singaporean women through a chain of courtship and cash, and come-visit-me tactics.

The often meet in other countries when the Romeos are banned from Singapore due to overstaying and visa issues.

Hit on you

So if you are in a pub in Singapore, having a quiet drinks and some young studs slither up to you, this could be the start of grooming process. You, the final loser.! You could end up in Australia, Britain and Japan, not in a love nest but the cold steel bars and cold stone floor. In effect you have been groomed to be a Drug Mule a four letter word. The alarming surges, compared to the seven Singaporeans caught between 2005 and 2007 made the CNB give out the public statements.

The next stage is to mount the drug onto them, like a horse taming, to saddle them for their run. Into Europe, Japan , Australia, where the red passport have a reputation for drug free. Now not.

Fly overseas to pick up drugs

They are forced to fly from Singapore to an intermediate country to pick up the drugs - usually in suitcases with false bottoms and courier to another country, usually London, Japan ,Australia. For all the freebies they were generously hosted , now is their payback time. There is no free lunch in the world, pay now or later.
