The first cut in the local Airlines (SIA) is now on. for all its 15000 odd employees.

The slowdown in air traffic and capacity reduction has force it to park 17 plances in the desert in USA. As predicted, as it done before during the SARs period way back, it demanded that 1 day in a month be compulsory off no pay day. It is expected to be implemented this coming May.

The agreements for it has been signed by the two unions. However, the heavy Airline Pilot have been ongoing. However the management grades will having a wage freeze instead of no pay day.No pay cut have been on the line yet says the spokesman , as it is still in the blue.
It is expected that more staffs be sent to TMIS for the Ambassador for Singapore prep talk. Any well dressed person seen going to school near SMU could be the Singapore Girl getting grounded on the history of Singapore.
